About Us
The
Barrett Family Wellness Center was founded on the basis of providing
occupational therapy and wellness services that enrich peoples' lives.
We pride ourselves as being a fun facility that stimulates individual
growth and accomplishment. We strive to meet each client’s needs and
goals through a variety occupational therapy and wellness programs:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY |

Our
occupational therapy services for
children specialize in treatments for Sensory Integration
Dysfunction, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Nonverbal Learning
Disability, Autism and Asperger's Syndrome to name a few. We believe
that OT can be a facilitator of positive change in an individual’s life,
and we invite you to view the types of programs we have available.
Please keep in mind that we offer Sensory Integration Praxis Testing or
(SIPT) for those who are seeking it.

WORKSHOPS |

We believe that every person in a child’s life should
take an active stance in understanding his or her condition and the
treatment approaches being performed. Therefore, we have developed
several workshops that are available to
parents, therapists, teachers and special educators. These workshops are
a great way to understand the framework of a condition and what can be
done to alleviate some common problems. These workshops are offered at
our facility, yet many are made available to work around your schedule
and even at your place of work. |

WELLNESS |

Finally, we want to ensure that parents and children have
an outlet to deal with stress. As a result we have numerous wellness
programs, such as yoga, reflexology, reiki, message and meditation that
are
aimed at improving
the overall health of adults and children alike. |
