NOW OFFERING – Strength-Based Assessment Approach
When students build on their existing cognitive strengths they often learn faster, easier and have more fun doing so (Arnold, 2007). The intervention piece is owned and developed, in large part, by the students through a guided process of discovery. Students are more likely to use the solutions if they are involved in the process of discovering them. Purposes for the strength-based assessments include educational planning, self awareness, and the development of study strategies.
These assessments are performed by Linda Haeussler, School Psychologist.
